Elizabeth sitting outside of Rowan's William G. Rohrer College of Business with her laptop. Why did you choose your major? I really enjoy the corporate world – business is my calling. The  more involved I get in the business world, I am reassured I chose the right major. This summer I interned with Caeser’s Entertainment in Atlantic City as the Hospitality Front Desk Supervisor, where I managed several employees, resolved customer issues, and handled room arrangements. This internship was a new challenge, but at the end of the summer, I saw my professional development and appreciation for my majors.

One reason why you chose Rowan? I was definitely interested in attending a school in New Jersey, but wasn’t sure which one I  was set on. I knew Rowan has an awesome business program that would benefit my career, and compared to other state schools, it was an affordable option. I’m so glad I decided to come here because of all the friends I’ve made and the business opportunities I’ve experienced.

My typical day as a Rowan student: On most days I wake up early, open Playa Bowls, go to class after my shift, try to go to the gym, and find sometime to eat in-between my busy schedule. On days where I’m not working, I don’t have class until 12:30 pm, so I’m usually catching up on sleep. Around 11:00 am, I’ll make some breakfast, go to class, finish assignments, and end my night at Intramural Soccer at 6:30pm. Even though I’m pretty involved on-campus, I always find time to hang out with my friends and sorority sisters.
