Meet Luis (on left), a junior music industry tech major from Bridgeton, NJ (Cumberland County.)

Why did you choose to come to Rowan?
“I chose Rowan because out of all the programs in New Jersey I applied for, Rowan’s seemed spunky and new and was in the growing phase. It was also a lot cheaper and closer to home. I also was excited by a lot of the professors that were adjuncting at Rowan. They all seemed to have cool backgrounds.”

What is one piece of advice you have for future transfer students?
“Be involved. Throw yourself into a weird elective, join different clubs or organizations. Meet people. Extend yourself so you can find your niche and find the best experience you can. You’ll never be this age again. In a place/scenario like this again. Enjoy it. Make the most of it. It’s yours.”
