Today we welcome incoming Law and Justice major Will Dennery, a first year student this upcoming fall. Will will commute from Sewell, NJ (Gloucester County) and is finishing his senior year at Washington Township High School.

Welcome to Rowan! Could you share with us one thing you are looking forward in college?

I am looking forward to starting my college education in a new environment and meeting new people along the way!

What is one hobby, activity, sport or club you were a part of in high school that you’d like to continue in college?

I was a part of the lacrosse team in high school and I would like to continue that in college.

Is there anything you’re hoping to discover about yourself in college?

I’m hoping to discover where my strengths and weaknesses are and to work on those. I would also like to learn about different communities within Rowan such as Greek life.

What majors are you considering and why?

The major I was accepted into is the Law and Justice program. I chose this because it has been a field that has always interested me.

Did you tour Rowan?

I took an in-person tour of the campus. Although I live relatively close to the campus, it was very nice to get a student view as to what the best places are and which building is which.

Do you have advice for other high school seniors who haven’t committed to a school yet?

I would advise to take a look at all your options and choose a path that best suits what YOU want to do.

What is one thing about Rowan itself that you liked?

One thing about Rowan that I liked was definitely the distance from where I am, to the campus. Another major thing was the growth of the college itself too.

Like what you see?
