Welcome to Rowan! Could you share with us one thing you are looking forward to at Rowan University?

I am looking forward to starting classes and meeting new people at Rowan University.

What is one hobby, activity, sport or club that you’re involved in that you’d like to continue at Rowan?

I am interested in joining the women’s club soccer team.

Is there anything you’re hoping to discover about yourself at Rowan? Grow a new skill? Try a new interest?

There is not anything I am hoping to discover about myself, however, I am interested in discovering what clubs and volunteering opportunities [Rowan] has to offer. I am looking forward to getting involved on campus.

Please share an interest, hobby or like that you have!

I played college soccer at my previous institution. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in May. I went to culinary school in high school. I love the beach. I work for a hot sauce company/restaurant in the summer.

What major are you pursuing and why?

Nutrition and dietetics. My passion for nutrition and dietetics started at a young age. I always enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking with family. Hence why I chose culinary arts in high school. Being an athlete sparked my interest in the field of nutrition as well. I learned how to properly fuel and hydrate my body before any athletic competition. Lastly, I love to help others and to do that through the major I have chosen is the icing on the cake.

Do you have advice for other transfers who haven’t committed to a school yet?

Exhaust all of your options. Do not rush into making an important decision such as this one. Ask questions. Make the decision that is best for you and your career goals.

Where are you going to live this upcoming year?

Commute from home.

What is one thing about Rowan itself that you liked that encouraged you to enroll?

The faculty and staff at Rowan left a positive impression on my decision to enroll at Rowan.
